New Form Of Citizenship

The British and Dominion Governments have agreed on a new form of citizenship for all citizens of the British Commonwealth coun- tries to establish a common national status throughout the Empire, it was learned here tonight.
It was announced in the speech from the throne at the opening of Parliament today that legisla- tion would be introduced in the House of Commons shortly to establish ✡ common status and to amend the existing law govern- ing the national status of married women.
