Jerusalem, Sept. 28. Commenting on Britain's declared intention to evacuate Palestine, Mr. David Ben Gurion, Chairman of the Executive of the Jewish Agency, asserted today' that the Jews them- selves are prepared to implement a settlement of the Palestine problem providing for the im- mediate establishment of a Jewish State. His written statement, issued after a special mect- ing of the members of the Executive in Jerusalem, was the first official Zionist re- action in Jerusalem to the announcement of the Colonial Secretary, Mr. Creech Jones, of British policy towards Palestine.
