Washington, Sept. 4.

The United States Atomic Energy Commission an- nounced today that rádio isotopes for medical and biological research can now be produced in sufficient quantity to permit 20 of the most Important isotopes to be made available in limited amounts to qualified hospitals and re- search laboratories outside the United States. The announcement was published in a telegram from President Truman to the International Cancer Research Congress in St. Louis. The President termed the move a "step toward greater international cooperation in the field of medical and biological research."
