Yachtsmen Have Job For Weatherman!
Yachtsmen would like to have met the man who forecast "Light to moderate east winds with scattered showers" for last Sunday. "West, wind" and "Ariki" were both cruising to the' West of the harbour when a good black squall came up with very strong winds, torrential rain and practically nil visibility, and both yachts had to run down-wind under headsails only for shelter. Both helmsmen could have found a nice job exposed on deck for the wea- ther forecaster!
