Rangoon, July 21. Crowds at the prison gates shouted: "Tear him to. pleces" and "Lynch him" when U Saw, Burm- esc ex-Premier and leader of the Myochit Party, was taken to the Rangoon Central Gaol today under heavy police guard.
His lake-side residence looked like an armed camp today, with troops and police occupying the house and grounds, while a search for arms continued.
