The broken pieces found in the possession of the accused were identified as parts of that valve.
In asking for a heavy penal- ty, DSI Roberta pointed out that the valve was valued at $1,000 and was the third one to be placed there by the Water Authorities during, the Inst six months. The broken pieces were merely sold as scrap iron, con- eluded DSI Roberts,
