A radical suggestion for cutting down reckless driving and speeding in Hong Kong, and also for reducing the bedlam of noise that is a daily feature of life in the Central District, was voiced yesterday by a veteran car driver who wishes to remain anonymous. The suggestion arose during a discussion on the long list of demands and proposals put forward last week by the Hong Kong Motor Car Drivers Au- tomobile Association.
Some of these suggestions, he said, were just or- dinary common sense: others were rather puerile and impracticable. He suggested that his plan, though radical, was not only far more practicable but would also produce immediate results.
