Generalissimo Francisco Franco today proposed a. law that would reconvert Spain Into a "king- dom" which he himself as Chief of State would rule until he dies, becomes incapacitated or chooses to resign, naming his own successor. Franco read the text of the law project in a radio speech.

The project provides that the ruler must be at least

30 years old, a Spanish Catholic and of royal blood-whether his title be Chief of State, King or Regent. Franco fulfills all but the last of these conditions.

If approved by the Cortes, storation of the monarchy, in the law will convert Spain into Spain.-Renter.
