An official communique issued in London tonight at the close of the talks between the French Premier, M. Leon Blum, with the British Prime Minister, Mr. Attlee, and the Foreign Secretary, Mr. Bevin, announces that it was agreed that a treaty of alliance should be con- cluded at the earliest possible moment with the object of preventing any further aggres- sion by Germany and of preserving peace, and security.
