Shortage of funds is threatening to hold up or
seriously delay the gigantic relief and rehall
litation programme of UNRRA-CNRRA in
China, which has hitherto benefited not only
the country as a whole but millions of Chinese Individuals of all classes and idèlogies. CNRRA which handles the distribution, of
UNRRA supplies in China-will wind up 1946 with a deficit, according to official figures, of no less than CN$130,000 million (about HK$160,000,000).
