Houses "Shooting Up" In Japan

The British Parliamentary delegation to Japan arrived in Hong Kong shortly after 1 p.m. yesterday on the return journey to England. The Rev. Gordon Lang, leader of the dele gation, told a Hong Kong Government spokes- man that the delegation had spent about à fort- night in Japan at the invitation of General MacArthur.

They had gone there to hold conferences with General MacArthur on matters relating to the occupation of Japan and also to study, first hand, the progress of democracy which had been initiated by the Supreme Commander. Mr. Lang said that during their visit the members of the delegation visited the Diet, in- terviewed the Prime Minister and other Cabinet ministers and "went all over Japan."
