"Squatters" who have taken possession of luxury flats and a big London hotel, today staged a mass demonstration in Hyde Park, a march through the busy streets of London's West end and a meeting in Leicester Square. Accompanied by thousands of sympathisers they shouted "Ex-servicemen demand the requisi- tioning of empty houses," "Stand by squat- ters" and other slogans, but the march under the eye of the mounted police, was orderely.
