Fisher folk Wedding Ceremony. Here is a photograph taken from a distance of the boat load of women approaching the marriage boat. You can clearly see the gong beater, the cheer leader in the bow, and the women carrying the poles with which they pretend to pole the sampan along in a rhythmic dance.
