Getting Nowhere With Russia

Bournemouth, June 13, The Foreign Secretary, Mr. Ernest Bevin, defeat- ed the opposition of his critics at today's ses- sion of the Labour Party Conference. "If we put 100,000 Jews in Palestine tomorrow, I would have to put another divi- sion of British troops there," he said. "I am not prepared to do it."
