DE GAULLE'S PAR- TIES HAVE GAINED A SUBSTANTIAL MAJORITY IN THE NEW CONSTITUENT ASSEMBLY, AND THE COUNTRY GAVE AN UN COMPROMISING AFFIRMA- TIVE TO HIS REFERENDUM QUESTION.
