At Causeway Bay, Signals, Third Division runners-up and now competing in Second Division, beat Royal Navy in a friendly football match by four clear goals after leading by three goals at the in- terval.

Signals were the better balanced team and displayed good combina- tion in the attack while their. In- termediate line was too good for the Navy forwards.

Truscott opened the scoring for Signals early in the game and shortly after increased the lead. Bátes scored before the interval and in the second period Truscott registered his "hat trick."

Royal Engineers-juniors! beat St. Joseph's by four clear goals in a friendly football game at the Val- ley yesterday after leading by one goal at the interval.

St. Joseph's tried several new players and though they showed promise they were unable to set- tle down and combine with the rest of the team.

Moores scored for Sappers early in the game and in the second half he added another. Ellsley and Bures added further goals.

At Boundary Street yesterday, Police. beat Air Force in a friendly football game by the odd goal in five. Gordon. acored all the goals for Police and W. McDonald and G. Smith for Air Force.

Sappers. Lee Shek-you was not ...so, prominent on the left wing while Chiu Man chi made the * mistake of feeding him too much. Lea, Wal-tong started well and showed that he is still a force to be reckoned with but in the sec- ond period he slackened his considerably. --
