MR. METFORD WATKINS, Britain's clothes dictator, married, with "two beautiful daughters aged two and five," is a psychologist on dress. He is 6ft. tall, has blue eyes, and bears a striking resem- blance to film star James Stewart.
He began his new job by announcing guaran- teed quality suits for men at 65s. to 75s. (ready made) to be available "after the 'white elephant' sales." He hopes standardisation will not become necessary.
"I'm all for individuality myself," he chuckled.
