THE FACT THAT CRAIGENGOWER HAD BEEN PRACTICALLY ASSURED OF THE FIRST DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP FOR SOME WEEKS PAST ROBBED THEM OF THE GLORY AND HEADLINES WHICH WERE THEIRS.
Rarely can a championship have been won so easily, for they recovered rapidly from their setback in the first match of the season and have had their noses—and necks as well in front ever since.
In congratulating them, tribute must be paid to their consistency and keenness they are worthy successors to Club de Recreio, whose run of four successive championships had possibly begun to take some interest out of the League.
