COLONY LAWN BOWLS IT'S WORSHIP CHAMPIONSHIP DRAWS ANNOUNCED

The draw for the quarter-finals of the Colony Lawn Bowls Open Pairs Championship was made last evening and as a result the holders, F. V. V. Ribeiro and H. A. Alves, will meet the winners of the game between S. R. Solina and K. M. Omar and S. Eccleshall and J. Shepherd,

Draw for the First Round of

the Open Singles and the semi- finals of the Rinks Championship the latter In were also made. competition. U. M. Omar's rink will meet the four led by A, J. Hall.

It will be recalled that Omar's four recently beat the holders (R. Basa, A.E. Coates, J.S. Landolt and CS. Rosselet) and they are favourities for the title this year.

M. N. Rakusen, holder of the singles title, meets R. M. Macken→ zie in the First Round of the Sin- gles.

Claimed to be the first bombed English church to be fully restored, St. Peter's Church, Fulham, was in-use-again-the-other- day. It was badly hit last autumn, but the parishioners promptly gove £400 for repairs.
