The deputation submitted re- cent examples which were des- cribed as "instances of deliberate discrimination against the news¬ papers" adding that it was im- possible to resist the conclusión that the frequent release of im portant news items in time for the B.B.C. news was more than a coincidence.
The deputation pointed out that the newspapers would almost cer- tainly give Ministerial pronounce- ments? a better show if the B.B.C. | had 'not already taken the bloom from them.
