WITHDRAWAL RECONSIDERED
Rumours have been in circulation to the effect that H. B. Club are con- sidering the withdrawal of their resignation from Hong Kong Baseball League.
It will be recalled that, following an unsuccessful application for a post- ponement of their game with U.S.S. Mindanao two weeks ago, H.B. club ten- dered their resignation from the League.
Asked if there was any truth in the rumour about their wanting to go back to the fold again, Mr. Dhun Ruttonjee, sponsor of H.B. Club, said, "Cer- tainly we will withdraw our resignation if they will let us play off our fixture with Mindanao, but un- less that happens we will not be returning to the League."
