THOUGH THE GERMANS APPEAR TO HAVE MADE SOME ADVANCE IN THE RESUMED OFFENSIVE DIRECTED AT MOS COW AND LENINGRAD, THE RUSSIAN FORCES ARE FIGHTING STUBBORNLY AND HOLDING THEIR OWN, INFLICTING SEVERE CASUALTIES ON THE ENEMY WHILE FALLING BACK TO NEW POSITIONS.
