GERMAN ATTEMPT
TO SCARE NEUTRALS WITH RED BOGEY
GERMAN ATTEMPTS to scare neutrals by raising the old anti-Soviet cry were com- mented on by the diplomatic correspondent of "The Times" yesterday.
The clearest evidence of this, he says, comes from Spain. On Tuesday afternoon watchers at the British Embassy windows in Madrid saw a battery of German film cameras being set up outside. At about the same time arrived a "spontaneous demon- stration'"' by between 300 and 400 young men in Falange uniform, some on foot, others in lorries loaded with bricks.

The isolationist cry of “No more! need to help Great Britain has been drowned in louder demand. for greater and quicker help.
