it was revealed at the monthly meeting of the Council of Hong Kong Football Association yoster- day, that over $20,000 was distri buted to war and local charities during the past season.

THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING, TO BE BOWLS TEAMS
HELD ON WEDNESDAY, JULY 9.
The amendments cover touring teams and for the first time the local football season will be defined, while important additions have been made for better control of the referees and the maintenance of a high standard among these officials.
The local playing season will be from the last .Saturday in September to the first Sunday in May.
All clubs intending to invite players from other clubs to go on tour will have to obtain the permis- sion of the other club, and all touring clubs will be required to submit a financial statement of the tour within 14 days.
Clubs will also be required top fleld their best teams at all times and, failing satisfactory

In compliance with a request from Hong Kong Referees' Asso- ciation, referees' fees have been increased for all representative games and for the Finals of all competitions, while travelling ex- penses will also be paid referees and linesmen in certain cases.
Referees and linesmen will also be paid for officiating at any Charity games and may be pre- sented with souvenirs not exceed ing in value the amount of their fees.
