WHILE A HUNDRED wedding guests were brought the horse to a waiting, a happy, excited bridegroom, ready to leave for the church, accidentally shot himself with his Army revolver. Everyone expected him to recover otherwise there might have been a wedding cere- mony at his bedside but he died.

The flowers which were in- tended for his wedding were placed over his grave at his funeral.
