AFTER ONLY FOUR DAYS, the Post Of- fice authorities in Tientsin yesterday morn- ing, without previous notice, suddenly dis- continued the acceptance of money order re- mittances at the rates announced last week.
After the Easter Holidays, the Post Office issued a notice to the effect that Internation- al Money Order remittances would be ac cepted at Federal Reserve Bank $17.14 for £1, FRB$4.26 per U.S. dollar and FRB$1.07 for H.K.$1.
