Windsor House, The Dairy Farm Ice & Cold Storage Co., Ltd., have added yet another mile- stone to their history-a history which has had "Progress" as its watch-
word.
With the continued expansion of the Company's activities, the administrative offices of the Com- pany at 2, Lower Albert Road, dating back to 1899, had for a con- siderable period been inadequate. While a change was desirable it was realised that if such were to take place I would be more fit- ting to secure premises in a cen- tral location in the City for both offices and shop. Suitable premises to house both were not immedi- ately procurable in the central district, and so in 1933 the Com- pany opened a down-town branch at 13 Queen's Road, Central. Since that time this branch has served a very necessary and useful pur- pose and was greatly appreciated by customers of the Company.

THE Hong Kong Land Invest-
ment & Agency Co.'s scheme for the Windsor House premises provided the Company with the opportunity which they had had in mind of having their offices and shop in the one building.
Arrangements were accordingly completed for the renting of the Ground Floor, Mezzanine and Basement of Windsor House.
