THE ANNUAL RACE MEETING has come and and gone, setting at rest, for another year, all This classic events. speculations regarding the year's meeting, however, was rather badly marred by inclement weather, and on two occasions it was deemed necessary to postpone racing on account of the sodden state of the track, which has suffered most severely.
