Many Norwegians have been sentenced to death by the Ger- man Military Tribunal at Bergen, according to the Norwegian Telegraph Agency in London.

Test Of A.R.P. Tunnels

Some 3,000 coolies are to be engaged in an ex- periment to test the ven- tilation of the A.R.P. Tunnel opposite the Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation in Queen's Road East.

The experiment is to carried out within the next ten days.

Equipped with medical supplies, several government doctors will accompany the coolies in case of _an_emergency.

This will be the first experiment of its kind to be carried out by the Air Raid Precautions Depart- ment.

The coolies will remain in the tunnel for three hours beginning from 9 a.m. Rel
