AMERICAN LABOUR "BULLET
GROUP TO ASSIST BRITISH
FORMATION OF AN American Labour Coni- mittee to Aid British Labour, to function with the cooperation of affiliates of the American Federation of Labour throughout the country, was announced by Matthew Woll, vice president of the A. F. of L. and president of the League for Human Rights, Freedom and Democracy, at a luncheon in honour of Sir Walter Citrine, British labour leader.
Sir Walter, general secretary of the British Trades Union Congress and president of the Inter- national Federation of Trade Unions, has been ad- dressing labour audiences in many cities under the auspices of the A. F. of L. in behalf of Britain's war effort.
The luncheon was attended by | 100 labour leaders of the State and city, who pledged their sup- port to the new committee, which will engage in relief
work
