DRINKS ON THE MAJOR
IT WAS "DRINKS on the Major for one battery of south-east A.A..gunners who bagged three Dorn. ier 17's inside one minute.

The Major's comment was "Ex- cellent marksmanship."
He explained. "The crew had been in operation were just getting a wink of sleep all night and when the alarm was given.
"We have a grand lot of chaps here, and the Jerries are getting a hot time, I can assure you."
Most of the men were Terri- torials before the war. The Ma- Jor's home is at Crayford.
