Wathen's Easy Win

The eighth match in the series was played the same day, between Corp. W. Wathen and L/Cpl. J. W. Dove, both of the Royal Corps of Signals. Both players' handicaps were plus 36, so they both started off level. Wathen won very easily by 83 pins, the scores. being Wathen 390 and Dove 307.

On January 12 Bdr. Pidgeon and G. D. Woolgar were opposed. to each other. Woolgar's handicap was plus 30 and Pidgeon's plus 5.

The scores were, Pidgeon 494 and Woolgar 435, a margin of 59 pins.
