MAILS
BROADCAST RECEIVING LICENCES
Holders of licences which expired at the end of 1940 are reminded that If-t is desired to retain possession of the apparatus after the date of expiration of the licence a renewal must be effect- ed without delay.
New Licences will be available at the Government Radio Office, G.P.O. Build- ing, First Floor, on ordinary 'business daya, and will be issued against the receipt of a remittance of $12.00, be tween the hours of 9 a.m, and 5 p.m. except on Saturdays when licences will be issued between 9 a.m, and 1 p.m.
Applications may be made:-
(a) personally.
(b) by messenger,
(c) by post.
It is essential under (c) and prefer. able under (a) and (b) that applications should be accompanied by crossed Cheque payable to Hong Kong Govern- mant. The new licence will then be sent by post or messenger as soon as it is ready. Where actual cash is ten. dered a new licence should be recalved In exchange before leaving the Licon- sing Office.
In the case of renewal the old lioence should be returned with the application.
Small Packet Post to all countries is suspended.
