Evans of Second Division was easily the top-scorer of the match, with 297, followed closely by Pierce, also of Second Division, with 281.

The remaining players on both sides were mediocre and only averaged from about 75 pins to 89 pins per game. Nevertheless the match produced a good deal of interest and keenness.

Win For Fifth

The second match of the series was also played on Monday, be- tween the Fourth and Fifth Diva- stons, Fifth winning by 68 pins. It was expected that the experi- enced Drewes and Vasko, good Duck Pin bowlers that they are, would lead the Fourth Division to Victory, but they were not at their best.

There was only one score of 100 or over made by Second Division, this being Evans' 106 in his third game.
