Streets Of Athens Beflagged, Marching Crowds Weight Of Attack Now Directed Against Elbasan

THE VICTORY OF Argyrokastron was celebrated with tremendous enthusiasm throughout Greece last night following con- firmation of its occupation in a Greek com- munique earlier in the evening.

Flags were hung out in all Greek towns, and in the streets of Athens huge crowds cheered the King and General Metaxas and marched, singing the National Athem, to General Headquarters.

In answer to the crowd's shouts | 00 the King appeared on the balcony, followed by General Metaxas.
