DEATH OF LORD ROTHERMERE
NEWS WAS RECEIVED in London fast night of the death in Bermuda at the age of 72 of Lord Rothermore, the well-known news- paper magnate and financier.
Lord Rothermere went to America in May on a special mission at the request of Lord. Beaverbrook, Minister of Aircraft Production.
CASUALTIES AMONG B.E.F. CHAPLAINS
Casualties among Army chap- lains who were with the B.E.F. in France and Flanders number- of ed 57 out of a total strength 436, a percentage of 13.
A summary issued by the Press Bureau of the Church of Eng- land shows that the figure was made up as follows:-Killed in action, one; died of wounds, one; prisoners of war, 33; missing officially posted-nine; not yet so posted. but no news since with drawal of B.E.F., two; wounded, 11.
