over the linen cupboard?

is false economy to put off buying your new linen when prices tend 10 rise. Take a note book and mark an inventory of all your linen as it stands beginning with bed-linen so: 12 sheets, condition perfect, 6 sheets, condition fair and so on with pillow slips, bed- spreads, towels, bath mals and other household linen.
When you go into town to re- plenish your stocks you will have entered into your shopping book ihe G sheets that need replacing and other items.
