THE CHINA MAIL, OCTOBER 26, 11040 -
NINE LEAGUE SOFTBALL GAMES FOR TO-MORROW St. Joseph's Match With The Chinese Baseballers
Should Be Good Reversion To Old Strike-Out Rule
By "Grandstand”
́NINE TILTS ARE slated for to-morrow, three games in each of the Senior, Junior and Ladies' Di- visions. On account of Volunteer training; both of the inter-hong games have been cancelled.
In the opener, at 9.30 a.m., the Wahoos will clash with "Doc" Molthen's Cardinals and should have a push-over. Although two weekly practices have been set for the Cardinals, Dave "I Hope So" Walker is finding difficulty, in getting a good turnout, the team being still in the tryout stages.
