Fatigue Breeds Fear

Isn't it a fact that things run much more smoothly when you are well rested? You take little problems in your stride and you face the big problems with logic. But just allow yourself to get very, tired and all problems take on alarming proportions. You worry a great deal and in no time at all you have developed fear-- fear of the future, fear that you Jack ability, fear of everything. That is a horrible state to drift into, and every woman should avoid it like the plague!

Your Day

You are capable of doing only so much each day. Your body tires and your mind tires after you have worked them six, eight or ten hours. If you strain them beyond their normal endurance you are rapidly using up your re- serve energy.

Personally, I do not think, any woman has "reserve" energy. We have energy, yes, a goodly supply of it. If we are in good health, we have more of it than if we are in poor health. But I cannot be convinced that we "store" en- ergy for emergencies. To my way of thinking every woman requires so much rest, so much mental res laxation and so much exercise each day to keep running normally and doing all that is demanded of her. There is little chance of creating more energy than what she needs daily!

Therefore it is evident that you as a woman, or girl, should sol plan your days as to avoid fatigue. Especially if you are not current- ly meeting an emergency such as caring for а sick loved one or "pinch hitting" for another tem- porarily indisposed.
