LONE VICTORY OVER RUHR STORY

AN AIR BATTLE. over the Ruhr, in which one British bomber fought and defeated three Nazi 'planes, destroying one definitely, and possibly two, has brought distinction to a 25-year-old New Zea land airman.

He is Flying-Officer. Neville Williams, of the Royal New Zealand Air Force. He is awarded the D.F.C. in a list of eight awards announced by the Air Ministry.
