Another Night Of Severe Bombardment Expected

Five Alarms During Day

LONDON'S SECOND air raid warning yesterday lasted only 15 minutes and the all clear was given at 3.16 p.m. The third warn- ing in the London area was sounded at 4.25, the all clear went after '18 minutes but an- other warning was given at 4.56 p.m., and a fifth warning at 7.14 p.m.

It is officially stated that at various times during the afternoon a few enemy 'planes; making use of cloud cover,. penetrated the London area.

They were apparently on re- connaissance and no bombs were dropped in this area.
