THRILLING BASKETBALL

After being led by five points (20-15) at the end of the first half, "Sin Tao Jih Pao" gradually settled down and, in the last 10 minutes, beat the Can- ton University quintette by 37 points to 30 in "A" Division of the Chinese Colony Baseketball League, in a match played before a large crowd at H.K. Chinese Y.M.C.A. gymnasium Jast night.

HUSSAINS WIN THREE SETS WITHOUT THE LOSS OF A GAME
DAMP SLIPPERY COURTS notwithstanding, two All-matches in “C” Division of the Tennis League were played
yesterday.
The game throughout was packed with thrills and was very entertaining. The winners are now level with the Y.M.C.A. team at the top of the League
:table.
"Sin Tao" started poorly and were outclassed by the undergraduates, who, for the greater part of the match, were definitely at the top of their form.
The undergraduates showed better combination and individual skill but lacked weight.
WRONG TACTICS
If had they employed similar tactic to their opponents and had been con- tinually reinforced by their reserves, the undergraduates might have won the match as they were generally the better team. They only changed one

At King's Park, Police, again without B. C. Fay, were quite unable to deal with the Hussain brothers, who did not drop a game in the course of the afternoon, and were never in the picture against K.I.T.C., while at Cox's Road, Kowloon Cricket Club, leading 4-2 at the end of the second round, were only able to draw with Recreio "B."
