The Prime Minister, Mr. Mackenzie King, announced in the House of Commons yes- terday the immediate expan- sion of the Canadian military and air forces to meet the critical situation in Europe.
The proposed increases include a veterans' reserve in addition to the veterans' home guard announced last, week.
