No fewer than four Army League tennis matches were played yesterday, resulting in wins for Royal Engineers and R.A.O.C. in First Division,

CLOSE MATCHES EXPECTED
The three matches on the Mixed Doubles League Tennis programme for to-day should all be interesting and close tussles should result.
Normally the most interesting match would have been the U.S.R.C.-C.R.C. fixture on the formers courts, but U.S.R.C. are not nearly as strong this year as they have been in recent sea- sons..
I have not seen the C.R.C. line-up for to-day but even if Mrs. Litton is should still indisposed, the Chinese not have a great deal of trouble in winning as both Mrs. Chiu and Miss Yeung are in splendid form and the C.R.C. men need no introduction.
H.K.C.C., with one very strong pair, should beat University, who make their first appearance but if the lady. undergraduates are little more than average, the result might be close, as Stephen Wong, Lim and George Choa are all experienced players.
This will be Choa's first League match since he took ill last year.
