Chungking, To-day. FIFTY-FOUR JAPANESE PLANES, taking off from two different bases, flew over Szechuen province yesterday morning, meeting 80 miles south of Chungking and then dividing into two batches which bombed several objectives in the Chung- ́king area.
The alarm sounded at 7 a.m. in Chungking after which batch of 27 Japanese bombers flew over at a low height in a westerly direction.
