ANSWER: Your correct bid is four clubs. Since your three diamond bid was an absolute force to game, your partner will not pass this four-club bid. If he now blds five clubs, you four may bid six clubs; if he bids hearts, you may bid six hearts.
Score 100% for four clubs, 70% for five hearts, 60% for six hearts, 40% for four hearts (an underbid,)

Both sides are vulnerable. You are the dealer and hold:
West made the mis- take of opening the heart King, then shift- ed to the King of spades. Déclarer won with the Ace, trumped a spade in his own hand, trumped a low heart, with dummy's deuce of diamonds, en- tered his own hand with the Ace of clubs and now led the Queen of hearts. West ducked. Declarer discarded a low club from dummy, Inc.)

DREARY TENNIS EXHIBITIONS
Whilst allowing for the fact that the Philippine Island tennis players, who gave exhibitions at Hong Kong Cric-. ket Club yesterday were not extend- ed, it cannot be said that they im- pressed very much.
A fairly large crowd watched two, singles and a double of some of the dreariest tennis seen here for a long time
There were no long rallies, none of the players appeared to be the slight- est bit interested and errors abound-' ed through all the games.
Tsui Yan-pui played for the first match against the P. I. No. 2, A. Sanchez, and at the outset appeared likely to offer some opposition. After the first three or four games, how- ever, the Hong Kong player's stroking went completely to pieces and Sanchez was content to play at half speed to win 6-4, 6-2.
The visitor's strokes, when he was really tryings were nicely made and he volleyed well on the few occasions he went in to the net.
BET TOO LONG
The doubles lasted a set too long and the match, which the crowd had been waiting for, between Ampon and foul Tsui Wai-pui, was played in light.

pressive, neither were Diy and Car mona and I don't suppose that more than half a dozen rallies lasted more than six strokes.
Ampon quickly found his control against Tsui Wai-pui but the latter was so erratic that the P.I. player soon allowed his concentration to wander, Most interesting feature of this game- was the fine retrieving powers of the: tiny. Filipino.
