Paris, Yesterday. An official communique says that German planes dropped bombs over the suburbs of Lille and in the neighbourhood of Abbeville and Hazebrouck, in north- ern France.
A German plane was downed near Hazebrouck and the crew taken prisoner.
In the mining district of Pas-de- Calais, German bombs caused several casualties. Three ehemy planes were downed and four Nazi airmen captured.
Twenty bombs were dropped on Dunkirk, causing several easualties. A certain number of casualties also
occurred at Valenciennes, St. Amand and Colmar.-Havas.
