"Japan is determined to remain out of the European conflict and concentrate on settlement of the China Incident," the Japanese Ambassador, Mr. Renzo Sawada, told the committee for Pacific affairs yesterday.

Mr. Sawada stressed that both General Abe (special envoy to China) and Admiral Yonal (the Premier) are firmly set on a po. lley of non-Intervention in Euro- pean affairs-Havas.
