To-morrow night, the K.C.C. are repeating their highly successful "Barrel of - Fun" show on behalf of the Overseas League Tobacco Fund.
Mr. V. C. Labrum, Hon. Secretary. of the Club, it is worthy of note, has already received numerous messages of thanks from Tommies in France who have received tins of cigarettes from the proceeds of the first concert. Two of them reveal themselves as formerly stationed in Hong Kong. Several are in hospital in France. All are extremely appreciative.

HONG KONG EXERCISES COMPLETED
Hong Kong's defence manoeuvres were concluded at seven o'clock this morning "During the night," says the official communique, "further attacks were made by small craft along the south shore and were repulsed.
"An attack to exercise the inner line of defences was again carried. out. The enemy having failed to es- tablish himself in any tenable posi- tion by daylight there was no occasion for counter attack. The exercise was therefore concluded at 7 a.m."
