THE SUPREME WAR COUNCIL of the Allies met in London ©yesterday afternoon to consider the situation resulting from the German invasion of Norway and Denmark.

The following communique was issued from 10 Downing Street last night: "The seventh meet- ing of the Supreme War Council was held in London this afternoon.

"Great Britain was represented by Mr. Neville Chamberlain, Lord Halifax (Foreign Secretary), Mr. Winston Chur- chill (First Lord of the Admiralty), Mr. Oliver Stanley (War Minister) and Sir Samuel Hoare (Air Minister), who were accompanied by Sir Alexander Cadogan (Under-Secretary at the Foreign Office), Air Chief Marshal Sir Cyril Newell (Chief of Air Staff), Admiral Sir Dudley Pound (Chief of Naval Staff) and General Sir Edmund Ironside (Chief of the Imperial General Staff).

"France was represented by M. Paul Reynaud (Premier) and M. Edouard Daladier (War Minister), ac- companied by M. Corbin: (Ambassador in London), Admiral Darlan (navy: chief), and General Koeltz.

"The Counelf met to consider the altuation resulting from the German Invasion of Norway and Denmark.
